Native American Club

NAC WEEKLY MEETINGS:  Wednesdays 12:30 PM, DHS Library ...IN-PERSON
Lunch provided every time, bring your own drink.  Parents are always welcome to attend or to bring a dish, remember to check in at the Security Kiosk by the main office.


Diné (NAVAJO) LANGUAGE & CULTURE LESSONS:
 WEEKLY 3:45 to 5:30 PM, DHS Library

WHO WE ARE

Our club promotes academic success and advances the knowledge of Native American Heritage & Culture within the DHS Community. We also provide community support for Native American Students.

Native American Parent Advisory Committee (NAPAC) of Durango School District 9-R is for parents/guardians/families of Native American students of all grades.  This organization is a separate entity from DHS Native American Club.
  • Families: PLEASE, submit a 506 form to DHS as soon as possible so your graduating senior can receive a robe/shawl at the Native Graduation ceremony! ***THREE WAYS to qualify: (1) STUDENT or (2) PARENT or (3) GRANDPARENT is enrolled in a federally recognized tribe/band as stated on this form.
