The week after the district’s Thanksgiving Break, Nov. 28 to Dec. 2, the DHS Green Team will be leading a week of action focusing on waste management in the school and community.

2022 SOIL Art Contest: How can a garden help you grow?

Gardens have inspired artists for centuries. Now it’s time for students to inspire the community with their creativity. We’re inviting all Durango School District 9-R students to submit a piece of artwork for the first annual SOIL Art Contest.

Yearbooks are on sale now!

The DHS yearbook, the Toltec, is created with love each year by students, for students. Buying a copy of the Toltec is a great way to remember your time as a Demon for years to come. Students may not realize the true value until they open it 5, 10, or 20 years later. Don’t miss out!

Check back here throughout the year, as well as on the morning announcements and in the weekly senior email blast, for news and updates.

Congratulations AP Demons!

Please take a moment to congratulate the students who were recognized by the College Board for high achievement on their AP exams.
