At Durango High School, Social Emotional School Counselors are assigned to each student and follow them throughout their 4 years. They meet with every student to touch base and assist with any social emotional needs they may have as well as develop lessons for social-emotional development that are delivered during the Advisory class. They also provide crisis support, referrals, and support group leadership.
