The Durango High School Parent Teacher Organization’s mission is to support the teachers, staff, and students in their journey to becoming the top performing public school in Colorado. We are committed to enriching the educational and social experiences for the students of DHS, as well as fostering a positive work culture for the staff. We will promote and encourage communication between parents, teachers, and school administration to work collaboratively. The PTO will organize fundraising efforts that will focus on supplemental classroom supplies, teacher appreciation and student-led organizations/ activities to enhance a feeling of school and community spirit.
