This new webpage is designed to provide guidance and support to families on how to create a good learning environment, ideas for daily schedules and information of what you might expect from your teacher(s).
Instructional Support Form
Thanks to those of you who have completed this form for us. It is critical to inform us on how we can best support you during this time for continuous learning. If you can’t access the form and need assistance, please contact your child’s teacher to identify alternative ways to support your student. Additionally, if you haven’t yet taken the form, we encourage that you please do at your earliest convenience. Schools and teachers are counting on this information to plan to support all children. Reporting Attendance and Remote Learning Options
Leaders and teachers have been hard at work, collaborating to provide meaningful, reasonable, and accessible instructional materials to every student. Based on the parent's survey response, student work will be distributed using the method selected. Teachers are excited to connect with your children to provide instructional continuity. Please visit our Remote Learning page on any school website for additional resources to support parents and students as we all tackle learning from home.
Additionally, the district will be asking for parents to support a daily communication around attendance starting on Wednesday. It will also be a communication vehicle to alert teachers and school leaders of challenges you may be experiencing. This will not only allow the district and teachers to track student work and time, but it is also important for the district to have to track student engagement in remote learning. If you are unable to report this using the online form sent to you daily, please call your school’s attendance line and provide this information. Watch for further information on your schools. As always, if you have any questions or need support you may contact your school, leave a message, and they will be in touch with you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience.
Remote Meal Services
Remote Meal Services will continue through the week of March 30 - April 3, and will through the entirety of the school closure. The new request form will be available every Wednesday of the week prior, and will be open through the end of Friday. We ask that all families requesting meal services please do so through this form by the Friday prior to the week they are requesting the meal services. If you are unable to complete the form online, please contact Valerie Bareis in Nutrition Services at (970) 259-1630, ext 2041. If she is not available, you may leave details on your meal order on her voicemail.
