In honor of Native American Heritage for the month of November, Durango High School's Native American Club would like to invite you and your family to a weekly evening of guest speakers, talent presentation, and prizes for the audience. Snacks/dinner provided, all 9-R families invited.

Nov 16:  Presentation Series #3 – “Native American Literacy Night & Thanksgiving Potluck."  Janine Gibbons (janinegibbons.com) is an artist and book illustrator and will present her life story.  A number of other books by Native American authors will be given out to 9-R students.  Turkey, Drinks and Gravy provided for dinner.

Nov 16 POTLUCK:
SIDE DISHES – Pre-K to ELEMENTARY families
DESSERT – MIDDLE SCHOOL families
BREAD – HIGH SCHOOL families

Side Dish Ideas -- mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, stuffing.
Dessert Ideas – cranberry sauce, candied yams, pumpkin pie.
Bread Ideas – dinner rolls, tortillas, frybread, cornbread.
*** BRING TUPPERWARE FOR LEFTOVERS ***

MASKS ARE REQUIRED by all persons inside school district buildings.
