Social Studies

The goal of the Durango High School Social Studies Department is to help create active and informed global citizens. Our curriculum offers students a wide and exciting variety of courses focused on National Social Studies Themes. On their way to graduation, students build essential skills and knowledge that address 21st Century learning.  We offer a core set of required courses as well as advanced courses that appeal to a wide variety of interests and learning styles.
