About Mr. Aspen
Robert Aspen has been an educator with Durango 9-R since the last millennium, working at the DeNier Center and Miller before coming to Durango High School. As an Academic Advisor, it is his goal to ensure that all his students are happy, healthy, and ready to pursue post-secondary success. Originally from the southern shores of Lake Michigan (aka, the south side of Chicago), he moved here after receiving his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Alaska Southeast. When not advising students, he can be seen jumping on a trampoline with his daughter, climbing trees and/or playing his accordion.
