Support DHS Theatre and Attend our Annual Gala!

Each year Durango High School sends a handful of our top qualifiers to the International Thespian Festival to compete during the summer. During the week-long theatre extravaganza, students compete and are recognized on an international level. It's an opportunity for these students to see the best theatre in the country, participate in workshops lead by industry professionals, make connections with other passionate theatre practitioners, interview for colleges, audition for scholarships, and spend a week together that will change their lives.

DAAC Wants Your Feedback!

Please take a moment to fill out the 2017-2018 Durango Accountability Advisory Committee (DAAC) parent survey. The DAAC conducts this survey annually and the results are used to inform Durango 9-R and individual school administrators of strengths and areas for improvement.

DHS Students Elect New Leadership for 2018-2019

Durango High School Students went to the polls this March to elect new student body leadership from the class of 2019. For their co-student body presidents, the students have elected Alex Hise and Emma Hackett. William Lammons and Ian Mattox were elected as vice president and secretary/treasurer, respectively.

District Launches My Stop App For Bus Riders

We are excited to introduce a new feature now available to families who have students who ride our buses. As an extension of our scanning system, which utilizes Student IDs to scan students on and off buses, parents can now download an app to their mobile device to access their child’s bus route information in live time and in a secure environment.
