Inclement Weather Information

School Closure / Delayed Start due to inclement weather

Durango School District 9-R RARELY closes school because of snowy weather. However, we may delay an opening to allow roads to clear and to reduce traffic congestion.

School delays and closures will be posted to the district Web site by 6 a.m. with updates throughout the day. In addition, the district will send e-mails to families who have subscribed to 9-R e-Notes, the district's electronic newsletter. You can subscribe from the district's Web site at www.durangoschools.org.
