Fall Sports

Make-up ImPact Concussion online testing: August 14 at 3:45PM in the Cascade Computer Lab, first floor off main hallway at DHS. All athletes will be required to complete a Baseline test before their first practice.

 
Boys Golf begins on August 7, 2017 and all other fall sports begin August 14, 2017.

A completed Proof of Insurance, Physician-signed Physical clearance form, Athletic Code of Conduct signature page, Medical Consent Form, and participation fee must be brought to the Activities Office in order to receive a red card which allows athletes to tryout and participate in DHS Athletics.

The Activities Office will be accepting paperwork and participation fees to issue red cards from Noon to 4:00 PM beginning July 26th. (Office will be closed for district meetings July 31, Aug 1, and 3 & 4.)

The deadline for receiving fall sports red cards is August 14th.

The mandatory Fall Parent/Coach/Athlete Meeting will be August 7 at 6PM, beginning in Gym 1 (main gym) at DHS.
 
Many sports are offering summer camp and pre-season workouts or practices beginning in June. Please contact the head coaches directly via their emails listed on the Fall Sports page for more information.

Marching Band: July 6 & 7 - Mini Camp and Summer Check-In:  Woodwinds @10am-12pm, Brass @1-3pm, and Color Guard and Percussion @10am-3pm.
August 1 - DHS Marching Band Leadership Camp @9am-3pm - DHS Band Room
August 2-4; 7-11 - DHS BAND CAMP @9am-3pm - DHS Band Room & Stadium (Mandatory)at DHS Practice Field & Stadium
Cheer Team In Season practice: 4:00-6:00pm Mon-Fri in DHS Cafeteria
Dance In Season practice from 4:00-6:00pm Mon-Fri in the Wrestling Room
Football Begins August 14 from 3:30-6:00 - meet in the field house
Boys Golf August 8 from 4:30-6:30 PM at Hillcrest Golf Course
Boys Soccer August 14 from 9:00-11:00 AM & 7:00-9:00 PM until school starts; In season practice: JV at 5:00 PM; Varsity at 7:00PM Mon-Fri in DHS Stadium
Boys Tennis In Season practice from 4:00-6:00 Mon-Fri at the DHS Tennis Courts
Softball In Season practice from 4:00-6:00 PM Mon-Fri at the DHS Softball Field
Volleyball Try-outs 5-8 PM Aug 14, 15, 16; In Season Practice 4:00-6:00 in the DHS Gyms and 6:00 - 6:30 pm in Weight Room
X-Country In Season 3:52 pm - 6:15 pm, meet in the DHS Stadium; First practice 3:52 on August 15; gather at DHS Stadium
